SentinelOne erhält Patent für automatische Malware Remediation
SentinelOne, VINTIN Technologiepartner und Spezialist für autonome Endpoint Protection, hat vom U.S. Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) ein neues Patent für seine am Markt einzigartige Malware Remediation Technologie erhalten. Sentinel One schreibt dazu: „The USPTO Patent No. 10,102,374 affirms SentinelOne’s superior endpoint detection and response (EDR) capabilities as the only player to provide true visibility into the root causes and origins of identified malware. With the same underlying technology and codebase, SentinelOne also delivers unparalleled protection (EPP) capabilities.“
Die Real-Time Remediation von SentinelOne automatisiert die EDR Usage und ermöglicht es dem Endpoint damit, Incidents ohne jede menschliche Intervention nicht nur zu entdecken, sondern auch zu beheben. Für die Real-Time Abwehr von Angriffen ist diese Fähigkeit von entscheidender Bedeutung. Zudem wird jede Systemänderung, die durch Schadcode verursacht wurde, sofort geblockt. Damit wird verhindert, dass beschädigte Geräte im Netzwerk streuen, denn es wird sofort und automatisch der Systemzustand VOR dem Angriff wiederhergestellt.
Wörtlich schreibt SentinelOne dazu: „SentinelOne’s remediation technology can pinpoint each operation in an endpoint’s operating system, in real-time, and autonomously attribute such operation to its root cause, classify it in accordance with an ever-evolving machine learning model knowledgebase of relatable operations and root causes, surgically reverse only the malicious operations resulting from the monitored operation, and neutralize not only the malicious cause operation, but also its root cause.“
